Under Currents

Hey, folks, I found a copy of the King DJT version of the Bible. Everything is starting to make sense now.

King DJT Bible verses, Day 1

John Chapter 8

32 and your lies will become the truth, and the truth will make you free.

King DJT Bible verses, Day 2

Matthew Chapter 5

38 ‘You have heard that it was said, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.” 39 But I say to you, Do not resist an evildoer, outsmart one. If anyone strikes you on the right cheek, draw your sword and turn the other also; 40 and if anyone wants to sue you and take your coat, counter-sue for all their possessions; 41 and if anyone forces you to go one mile, establish a shrine on the mark to reclaim your prerogative. 42 Spurn everyone who begs from you, and lend usuriously to anyone who wants to borrow from you.'

King DJT Bible verses, Day 3

Luke Chapter 15

1 Now all the tax-collectors and sinners were coming near to listen to him. 2 And the Pharisees and the scribes were grumbling and saying, ‘This fellow welcomes sinners and eats with them.’

3 So he told them this parable: 4 ‘Which one of you, having a hundred sheep and losing one of them, does not send a slave into the dangerous wilderness to go after the one that is lost until it is found? 5 And when it is found, he lays it on his own shoulders and rejoices. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbours, saying to them, “Rejoice with me, for I have risked the wilderness and found my sheep that was lost.” 7 Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who shapes his own truth than over ninety-nine righteous people who are clay in the universe's hands.'

King DJT Bible verses, Day 4

3 The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery; and making her stand before all of them, 4 they said to him, ‘Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. 5 Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?’ 6 They said this to test him, so that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and drew a woman with his finger on the ground. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, ‘Let anyone among you who has lain with this woman throw a stone at her.’ 8 And once again he bent down and continued to draw on the ground. 9 When they heard it, they picked up stones and pelted her, one by one, beginning with the elders; and Jesus said, ‘Verily I say, justice is wrought by those with the stones.’

King DJT Bible verses, Day 5

Luke Chapter 10

25 Just then a lawyer stood up to test Jesus. ‘Teacher,’ he said, ‘what must I do to inherit eternal life?’ 26 He said to him, ‘What is written in the law? What do you read there?’ 27 He answered, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.’ 28 And he said to him, ‘You have given the right answer; do this, and you will live.’

29 But wanting to justify himself, he asked Jesus, ‘And who is my neighbour?’ 30 Jesus replied, ‘A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell into the hands of robbers, who stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a priest was going down that road; and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan while travelling came near him; and when he saw him, he was moved with righteousness. 34 He went to him and condemned him as an unwelcome outsider. Then he dragged him behind his own animal, brought him to the authorities, and forsake him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii, gave them to the jailer, and said, “Take care of him; and when he is back where he belongs, I will repay you whatever more you spend.” 36 Which of these three, do you think, was a neighbour you would want in your village?’ 37 He said, ‘The one who upheld the law.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Go and do likewise.’
